1. In a large saucepan, bring broth to a boil over high heat. Add broccoli, cover, reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 5 to 6 minutes, until broccoli is fork tender. Strain and reserve broth for another use. Transfer broccoli to a serving bowl and toss with salt and pepper.
2. Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add almonds and sauté until lightly toasted, about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Top broccoli with the almonds and serve warm.
14 1/2 oz Canned chicken broth, low sodium
16 oz Frozen broccoli florets
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground
1 Tbs Unsalted butter
1/3 cup Almonds, sliced
