Kids love a salad bar, where you can
choose your own fixin’s. Following are
suggestions; add any favorite veggies
or condiments, such as nuts, sunflower
seeds, canned tuna, or shredded or
crumbled cheeses.

What Younger Kids Can Do:
* Place salad bar items in separate bowls.
* Rinse vegetables.
* Peel cucumbers.
* Cut vegetables.

1. Place Salad Mix in a large serving bowl.
Place cucumber, tomatoes, pepper slices,
baby corn, chickpeas, croutons, and olives
in separate bowls, with forks or spoons for
serving each one. Set everything up on a
table or countertop.
2. Pour each dressing into a bowl with
a spoon, or into a creamer-size pitcher
or gravy boat. Include salt and pepper
shakers.
