1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine brownie mix, oil, eggs, and water. Stir until well blended, about 50 strokes with a wooden spoon or 2 minutes with an electric mixer.
3. Pour brownie batter into the graham cracker crust. Sprinkle surface with cinnamon and, if desired, ginger.
4. Bake the pie at 350 degrees for 55 to 63 minutes or until center looks set. The brownie will puff above the crust. A toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pie should come out clean. Let pie rest for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve at room temperature or slightly warm.

Note: Ginger is an optional ingredient.
